Healthy eating: more products are being made in Moscow!

Moscow-based companies are actively increasing the production of healthy lifestyle (wellness) products. This was announced by Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow.

“In the first quarter of 2025, companies produced over 64,000 tons of flour made from grains, vegetables, and other plant sources, as well as blends thereof. They also released more than 168 tons of breakfast cereals and other grain-based products,” Garbuzov was quoted as saying by the department’s press service.

Drugoy Khleb (“Another Bread”) produces gluten-free waffles made with potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, rice, oat, and almond flour. In the first quarter, the company’s production volumes grew by 60%.

The Moscow-based company Food Rev makes snack bars and candies from natural ingredients with no refined sugar. The KICK your energy brand was co-founded by Anna Berseneva, a professional nutritionist.

At the recent Confex business forum, Anna spoke as a guest speaker about the project’s experience and the challenges producers face in the healthy food industry.
