Modern Bakery Moscow, is one of the most significant business events of the bakery and confectionery industry and the leading specialized exhibition in Russia and CIS countries.
The trade fair demonstrated products and technologies in: food processing, ingredients and raw materials, packaging, shopfitting, refrigeration technologies, cleaning and hygiene, services.

215 exhibitors from 15 countries presented their products. The exhibition was visited by a record number of specialists 17,309 visitors.

What's new at the fair in 2021
In frame of Modern Bakery Moscow 2021 the key and one-of-a-kind offline event of the year in the confectionery industry – the International Business forum “Confex. Confectionery expertise” were held. This is the only event for the owners and leaders of confectionery enterprises.
Speakers discussed up-to-date topics: prospects for the development of the confectionery market in the context of crisis, global trends in the confectionery industry, government regulation and support, export of confectionery products.
We managed together representatives of Ferrero, Mondelez, MARS WRIGLEY, Konti, POBEDA, Biennale Group, United Confectioners, KDV, AKKOND, ESSEN, SOBRANIE, Slavkond, Sweet Fairy Tale, Akulchev, FOODCODE, Barry Callebaut, Orion International Euro, etc.
Business forum «Confex. Confectionery expertise» has become an important platform for meeting market leaders in the confectionery industry.

A new form of communication became available for the participants and visitors of the fair: the video studio "Modern Bakery on Air" was launched. The studio allowed us to communicate with key market players and those who are just starting their way into the baking world. Short video interviews with exhibitors, speakers, master class presenters and visitors will be available for viewing on the official YouTube channel.
This year, the consulting center "Ask an Expert" continued its work. Visitors could ask technological questions concerning bakery and puff pastry products to the invited experts from leading research institutes: Research Institute of Bakery Industry, Research Institute of Confectionery Industry, the International Industrial Academy, Moscow State University for Management and Technology after K.G. Razumovsky, St. Petersburg
With the support of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy (BMWi), the German National Pavilion was presented after a long break. The Russian-German Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK) provided organizational and informational support to the participants of the joint stand. The Chairman of the Chamber, Mr. Matthias Schepp, took part in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, after which he visited the German Pavilion and talked with representatives of Advanced Neofood Machinery GmbH, AquaBrit LLC, Daxner Germany GmbH, Extruder Experts GmbH & Co. KG, Uniferm GmbH & Co. KG, Wachtel GmbH, Wiesheu GmbH.
Angel Yeast company considers the fair was a success: "During the four days of Modern Bakery Moscow, the sales staff held more than 140 meetings and negotiations with regular and potential customers, which resulted in a huge amount of information for planning future work."
Despite all the difficulties, the Memak company did not miss the year of participation and did everything possible to come and work at the 26th Modern Bakery Moscow exhibition.
According to the sales director, their expectations were fully met.
Traditionally, an extensive program of events, which includes symposiums, seminars, master classes and competitions, was held at the fair.
Fringe program, supported by partners of Modern Bakery Moscow, attracts more and more professionals of the bakery and confectionery industry. More than 30 events were organized and held this year.
The visitors were interested in the practical part of the exhibition – master classes. In 4 days, the specialists conducted 15 master classes for 1,970 students. The topics of the master classes are very different: from baking technology for obtaining high-margin products to the features of using oil-and-fat products without palm oil and desserts with WOW- effect.
