BCH "Kolomenskiy" to Acquire the "Peko" Bakery Plant!

BCH "Kolomenskiy" is one of Russia’s largest producers of baked goods and confectionery, operating since 1956.

The deal has already been approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). It involves the purchase of a 100% stake in LLC ””Peko” Bakery Plant” (which owns the “Medvedkovsky,” “Peko,” and Alpin Brot brands). Experts estimate the value of the asset at 800–900 million rubles, including debt.

The FAS’s condition is that within five years, “Kolomensky” must develop a new sales and distribution policy for fresh bread in Moscow to avoid the risk of market monopolization.
