Mondi completes sale of three Russian converting operations

The Austrian company Mondi has completed the sale of three packaging processing plants in the Lipetsk, Yaroslavl and Sverdlovsk regions to the Gotek Group. The transaction  amounted to 1.6 billion rubles.

The company also continues to consider options for the sale of its key plant Mondi Syktyvkar. In August 2022, attempts were already made to sell it to Augment Investments Limited company for 95 billion rubles, but the transaction wasn't completed.

The production capacity of Mondi Syktyvkar is estimated at 1.3 million tons of finished products per year, which were delivered across Russia, to Europe, Australia, the USA and China.
